Let us introduce attractive video content from an online exhibition called “Tokyo Time Scape” that will showcase the urbanization of Tokyo stretching back to the Edo period while illustrating the bright future that awaits the ever-evolving city, seizing the opportunity presented by the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020.

長い歴史と様々な文化を融合し、築き上げられてきた東京の都市づくりの変遷や、様々な魅力にあふれ、先進的な発展を続ける東京が進化しつづけていく様子を、「動画コンテンツ」で体験できます。（日英２か国語対応）

We will present videos showing the evolution of urban Tokyo through the years, a city that continues to progress with cutting-edge advancements and boasts a long history, a blend of various cultures, and overflowing charms(in Japanese or English).

歴史編では、長い歴史と様々な文化を融合し、築き上げられてきた東京の都市づくりの変遷を振り返ります。

The “history” section will look back on Tokyo’s urban development, which has been developed through its extensive history and various cultures.

The “future” section will display various charms and beauties of Tokyo alongside its progression as it continues to spearhead the latest developments.

東京2020大会期間中に合わせ、令和3年７月２１日から同年１０月２９日まで、東京の都市づくりの歴史と未来を紹介するバーチャル展示コンテンツを東京都メディアセンター(TMC)サイトおよび東京都都市整備局ホームページ上にて公開していました。

In time with the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020, we displayed a dynamic virtual exhibition showcasing the history and the future of Tokyo’s urban development, from July 21st to October 29th, 2021, on the Tokyo Media Center (TMC) and The Bureau of Urban Development, TMG website.

当初、東京都メディアセンター内における都市情報コーナーで予定していた展示について、新型コロナ感染症の拡大に鑑み、オンラインの３Ｄバーチャル空間上に再現した展示です。

The content was initially planned to be offered at the urban information section in the Tokyo Media Center exhibition space. Due to the spread of COVID-19, it was reproduced in an online 3D virtual space.

バーチャル展示上では、本ページで掲載している「動画コンテンツ」に加えて、「多様な詳細情報をパネル操作により自由にアクセスできるコンテンツ」の２種類を体験いただきました。

Audiences were able to enjoy the videos posted on this page, and other content full of detailed information via virtual touch panels inside the virtual exhibition.
